...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM TUESDAY TO 1 AM
AKDT WEDNESDAY FOR THE KUSKOKWIM DELTA COAST...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 
  of 2 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility 
  will be reduced to one quarter mile or less in blowing snow.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta coast.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Tuesday to 1 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing 
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and blowing snow will begin near
  Hooper Bay Tuesday afternoon. It will expand southward towards
  Kipnuk through the evening. While blizzard conditions are most
  likely along the immediate coast, inland areas including Bethel
  could see visibilities reduced to one half mile at times in
  blowing snow. Southerly winds gusting up to 40 mph will be
  stronger along the coastline. Conditions will quickly improve 
  through Wednesday morning as winds and snow rates diminish.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,

...BLIZZARD WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 1 AM AKDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

Precipitation has switched to rain along the Kuskokwim Delta coast
with decreasing winds and improving visibility farther inland.
While periods of snow and blowing snow remain possible over the
Middle Kuskokwim Valley, conditions should continue to improve and
blizzard conditions are no longer expected.
