...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 4 PM AKDT SUNDAY
FOR THE KUSKOKWIM DELTA COAST...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations of
  4 to 8 inches. South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 
  mph. Visibility will be reduced to one quarter mile or less in 
  blowing snow.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta coast.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 4 PM AKDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce 
  visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to begin across Nunivak
  Island around midnight before continuing eastward spreading into
  the Kuskokwim Delta Coast overnight. Temperatures are expected
  to rise above freezing Sunday afternoon which may cause a mix of
  rain and snow though winds will remain gusty ending any blizzard
  conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay
with your vehicle.

  of 4 to 8 inches. South winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 
  mph. Visibility will be reduced to one quarter mile or less in 
  blowing snow.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta coast.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce 
  visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow has overspread the Kuskokwim Delta
  Coast early this morning. This is expected to continue through
  the rest of the morning and into the afternoon hours.
  Temperatures are expected to rise to near and slightly above
  freezing Sunday afternoon. This will cause a mix of rain and
  snow and end the blizzard conditions. However, the winds will
  remain gusty through Sunday night.
