...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 7 PM 
MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE NORTHWEST PLATEAU AND NORTHWEST 
HIGHLANDS DUE TO STRONG WINDS, VERY LOW HUMIDITY AND AN UNSTABLE 
ATMOSPHERE...

.A storm tracking to our northwest today will bring increasing 
winds aloft, and they will mix down to the surface this 
afternoon and into the evening. Combined with long duration 
single digit relative humidities, High and Super Haines and 
temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above normal, critical fire weather 
conditions are expected.

MDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM MDT
this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. 

* AREA AND TIMING...The Northwest Plateau and Northwest Highlands
  this afternoon and early evening. 

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 
  mph. 

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Four to 8 percent with 10 to 15 consecutive
  hours of single digit humidities. 

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
