PLAINS FROM NOON UNTIL 6 PM MST TODAY DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITY...

.A Pacific system will race east across the region today, bringing
strong downslope winds to eastern New Mexico. The combination of
strong winds and low humidity will create several hours of
critical fire weather conditions, especially near the Texas
border.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
