A few dry lightning strikes will be possible this afternoon in western New Mexico, setting the stage for possible wildfire ignitions. Then, strong winds are expected by Saturday afternoon with dewpoints, and consequently humidity, lowering to critical levels. In addition, warm temperatures will be present with high Haines indices.
