...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS 
EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of central New Mexico, including 
  the following area, South Central Mountains.

* From Noon MDT today through this evening.

* With moist southerly flow across the area, above normal values of 
  atmospheric moisture will remain. This will result in another 
  round of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, and some 
  of these storms will be capable of very heavy rainfall. With slow 
  and erratic storm motions, the threat for flash flooding will 
  increase in the area. Locations that received heavy rainfall 
  yesterday as well as areas on or near wildfire burn scars will be 
  especially susceptible to flash flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
