...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Southwest to west winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts over 60
mph through the overnight hours. Winds will shift to the
northwest by early Monday morning but stay elevated with gusts
  over 50 mph possible.

* WHERE...All of Clark County and Southern Nye County. This

* WHEN...Until 6 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Very dangerous driving conditions for travelers
along Interstate 15, Highway 95, and the western 215 beltway.
High profile vehicles are especially vulnerable to being blown
over due to extreme winds impacting these highway and other
area roadways. Additionally, damaging wind gusts could result
in multiple and possibly long duration power outages area-
wide. Downed trees and power poles are possible area- wide as
well. Securing any loose items such as trash cans, outdoor
plants, sports equipment, or trampolines, is highly
recommended. Areas of blowing dust are also possible.

Speeds will decrease slightly early Monday morning but
widespread gusts over 40 mph will continue Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
