* At 709 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Marianna, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
north central Jackson County, including the following locations...
Malone, Bascom, Greenwood, Blue Spring, Chipola Terrace, Marianna
Municipal A/P and Sills.

was located 9 miles southeast of Cottonwood, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is

AT 745 PM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, but we are still monitoring some weak rotation. The warning
will be allowed to expire. However gusty winds are still possible
with this thunderstorm.
