...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Southerly winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 70 to 75 mph 
  are expected. The strongest gusts are expected between MP 20 to 
  MP 40 along Interstate 80.

* WHERE...Great Salt Lake Desert and Mountains, including
  Interstate 80.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property 
  and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult especially 
  for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing dust will reduce visibility to
  below 1/4 mile at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown
around or damaged by the wind.

* WHERE...Western Uinta Basin, Castle Country, San Rafael Swell, 
  Sanpete/Sevier Valleys, Glen Canyon Recreation Area/Lake 
  Powell and South Central Utah.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. A 
  few power outages are possible. Strong crosswinds on east-west 
  routes could affect travel for high-profile and lightweight 
  vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing dust could restrict visibilities.
