The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Crowley County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 630 PM MDT.
    
* At 555 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles northwest of Sugar City, or 26 miles north of
  La Junta, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. Brief spinups have been 
           observed with this storm from storm chasers. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Sugar City around 610 PM MDT.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM MDT FOR EASTERN
CROWLEY COUNTY...
    
At 607 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Sugar City, or 22 miles north of La Junta, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. A large rotating wall cloud was 
         occurring with this storm.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Crowley County.
