305 WWUS81 KPHI 032232 SPSPHI Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 632 PM EDT Mon Aug 3 2020 NJZ016>019-021-022-027-032300- Northwestern Burlington-Salem-Cumberland-Camden-Atlantic-Gloucester-Southeastern Burlington- 632 PM EDT Mon Aug 3 2020 ...A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...CUMBERLAND...SALEM...CAMDEN...GLOUCESTER AND SOUTHERN BURLINGTON COUNTIES... At 631 PM EDT, radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Woodstown to near Elwood- Magnolia. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible with this storm. Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Locations impacted include... Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, Cumberland, Deptford, West Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Hammonton, Pennsville, Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton, Berlin, Shamong, Paulsboro, Salem, Buena, Laurel Lake and Woodstown.
