...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN HUNTERDON...MERCER...SOMERSET...MONMOUTH...MIDDLESEX
AND EAST CENTRAL BUCKS COUNTIES...

At 855 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Highlands to Somerset to near Pipersville, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Asbury Park,
Somerville, Sandy Hook, Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge,
East Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North
Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing and Carteret.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8A and 13.
 Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 14 and 40.
 Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 6.
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 60 and 76.
 Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 24.
 Garden State Parkway between mile markers 102 and 134.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

take priority.  Whenever possible, as long as it does not cause

COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 915 PM EDT...
            
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Mount Holly NJ.
