The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Ocean County in southern New Jersey...
  Southeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...

* Until 215 PM EDT.

* At 125 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Woodruff, or
  13 miles west of Toms River, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement. Trees and wires have been downed in 
           Brick Township.

  IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
           possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Beachwood, Manasquan, Point Pleasant
  Beach, Seaside Heights, Lakehurst, Mantoloking, Leisure Village,
  Allenwood, Dover Beaches North, Holiday City South, Pleasant
  Plains, Cedar Glen West, Leisure Village East, Dover Beaches South,
  Cassville, Woodruff and Holiday City-Berkeley.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 74 and 97.

ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN OCEAN AND SOUTHEASTERN MONMOUTH COUNTIES...

At 139 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Whiting, or 10
miles west of Toms River, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement. Several reports of trees and wires down 
         have been received near and southwest of Brick Township 
         toward the Lakehurst area.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is 
         possible.

Beach, Seaside Heights, Lakehurst, Mantoloking, Leisure Village,
