* Flood Warning for
  the Chester Creek Near Chester.
* From this evening to Friday morning.
* At 10:16 PM EST Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 10:16 PM EST Thursday was 8.6 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 11.3 feet just after midnight 
  tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight to 5.0 
  feet and begin rising again late tomorrow evening. It will rise to 
  5.1 feet early Saturday morning. It will then fall to 5.0 feet and 
  begin rising again early Saturday morning. It will rise to 5.1 
  feet Saturday morning. It will then fall again and remain below 
  flood stage.
* Impact at 7.0 feet...The creek floods adjacent open land. Impact 
  at 10.5 feet...Flood damage, adjacent to the creek, begins in the 
  city of Chester. Impact at 11.5 feet...Parker and Kerlin Streets 
  flood. The 600 to 1300 blocks of Parker Street are subject to 
  evacuations. The 1300-1400 blocks of Kerlin Street are also 
  subject to evacuations.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.3 
  feet on 10/19/1996.
