* At 806 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

EVENING FOR SOUTH CENTRAL ANDERSON AND SOUTHWESTERN KNOX COUNTIES...
At 919 PM EDT, Local law enforcement and trained weather spotters
reported flash flooding from earlier thunderstorms. Numerous road
closures have been reported across the area, most notably along
North Shore Drive, Bakertown road, and Ball Camp Pike in Knoxville.
Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is
already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
