  Northwestern Morrison County in central Minnesota...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.
    
* At 1015 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located 8 miles south of Staples, or 27 miles northwest
  of Little Falls, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

At 1027 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles southwest of Motley, or 23 miles northwest of
Little Falls, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Todd and northwestern Morrison Counties, including the

central Minnesota.
