The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a
* Snow Squall Warning for...
East central Wright County in central Minnesota...
North central Hennepin County in east central Minnesota...
* Until 1030 AM CST.
* At 933 AM CST, a dangerous snow squall was located over
Albertville, or 10 miles northeast of Buffalo, moving southeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD...Extremely poor visibility in heavy snow.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.
This includes Interstate 94 in Minnesota between mile markers 197
and 205. A multi-vehicle pileup has occurred near Monticello.
Locations impacted include... Maple Grove, Ramsey,
Champlin, St. Michael, Otsego, Rogers, Albertville, Corcoran, Dayton
and Hanover.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Consider avoiding or delaying travel until the snow squall passes
your location. If you must travel, use extra caution and allow extra
time. Rapid changes in visibility and slick road conditions may lead
to accidents.
