warning for the following rivers in Minnesota... 

  Mississippi River At Hwy 169 at Champlin affecting Anoka and 
  Hennepin Counties


.This river forecast is based on on going ice jams and forecast 
precipitation of 0.30 inches over the next 24 hours. The National 
Weather Service will monitor this developing situation and issue 
followup statements as conditions or forecasts change.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don't Drown.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 12.2 feet by 
  after midnight tonight. Additional rises may be possible 
  thereafter.
* Impact...At 13.5 feet...Champlin - flooding begins on West River 
  Parkway upstream from gage

  Hennepin Counties

.Overview...Ice jams have been causing the Mississippi River at Hwy 
169 at Champlin to fluctuate between Minor and Action stage. At this 
time, the river has dropped below Minor flood stage and the Flood 
Warning has been cancelled. We will continue to monitor the river 
for any changes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Champlin - flooding begins upstream of gage 
  at Galloway Park
* Impact...At 10.8 feet...Champlin - some flooding downstream of gage 
  on Mississippi Drive
* Impact...At 9.4 feet...Champlin - some flooding 3-4 miles downstream
  of gage below West River Road
* Impact...At 9.0 feet...Champlin - low parking lot off 411 Dayton 
  Road begins to flood.
* Impact...At 8.8 feet...Champlin - low areas of Mississippi Point
