THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Rough surf and a Moderate Risk of rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Volusia, Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin 
  counties.

* WHEN...Expect rough surf and rip currents through 6 pm.

* IMPACTS...Incoming swells will produce rough surf and life
  threatening rip currents. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...To reduce your risk of becoming caught in
  the seaward pull of a rip current, swim only within sight of a
  lifeguard, and never swim alone.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
