The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida...
* Until 730 PM EDT.
* At 426 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain moving into Southern Broward County from Northern Miami-
Dade County. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen over
this area from earlier slow moving thunderstorms. Additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected from the new
thunderstorms moving into the area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Miramar and Davie.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small

SOUTHERN BROWARD COUNTY...
At 547 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated there are still slow moving
thunderstorms moving through Southern Broward County producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already
fallen, and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are still
expected in the warning area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida...
* Until 830 PM EDT.
* At 720 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across approaching the warned area from
western metro areas of Broward County. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches are possible with these new thunderstorms on top of the
already rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches from the earlier
thunderstorms. These new rainfall amounts will exasperated ongoing
flooding over this area.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
