Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...
* Until 845 PM EST.
* At 522 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the
warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Miami, Hialeah, Coral Gables, North Miami, Doral, Miami Lakes,
Hialeah Gardens, Opa-Locka, Miami Springs, Sweetwater, Miami
Shores, West Miami, El Portal, Medley, Gladeview, Miami
International Airport, West Little River, Liberty City, Westview
and Pinewood.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.

deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
