* At 424 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated training thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 6
inches of rain have fallen overnight. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Jackson, Humboldt, Savannah, Henderson, Selmer, Chickasaw State
Park, Pickwick Landing State Park, Fairview, Adamsville, Three
Way, Morris Chapel, Jacks Creek, Masseyville, Shiloh, Mifflin,

previous rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches will continue to pose a
flash flooding threat through the morning commute.

MORNING FOR CHESTER, HARDIN, MCNAIRY AND EASTERN MADISON COUNTIES...
At 722 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported widespread flooding
from earlier heavy rainfall. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain fell
overnight and has caused flooding numerous roads across the warned
area. Urban areas, including portions Selmer have reported
significant flooding across the community. Additional runoff will
continue the flooding threat this morning.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
