The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Iron County in southeastern Missouri...
  Reynolds County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that portions 
  of southern Reynolds and southwest Iron Counties have already 
  received 2 to 3 inches of rain. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other 
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Reynolds, Ellington, Viburnum, Annapolis, Glover, Oates, Bixby,
  Garwood, Centerville, Des Arc, Corridon, Redford, Hogan, Vulcan,
  Black, Sabula, Chloride and Lesterville.

State Park, and Clearwater Lake Recreational Area.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT FOR
IRON AND REYNOLDS COUNTIES...

At 652 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicates that as much as 3 to 5 inches 
of rain fell across portions of southern Reynolds County into 
southern Iron County, with isolated amounts of 2 to 4 inches across 
northern parts of Reynolds County and far northwest Iron County. 
Route F near Logan Creek to the west of Annapolis was closed due to 
flooding from the heavy rain.
