The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Adams County in west central Illinois...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 222 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area with water covering 
  roads near Loraine.  Radar estimates that 2 to 4 inches of rain 
  has fallen since 8 am this morning over the warned area. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other 
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Quincy, Camp Point, Mendon, La Grange, Golden, Ursa, Loraine,
  Woodville, Lima, Coatsburg, La Prairie, Meyer, Paloma, Fowler and
  Chatton.

At 452 PM CDT, law enforcement reported flooding between Paloma and 
Coatsburg.  Radar estimates that 2 to 4 inches of rain has fallen 
since 8 am this morning over the warned area.
