The National Weather Service in San Juan has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  San Juan Municipality in Puerto Rico...
  Guaynabo Municipality in Puerto Rico...

* Until midnight AST

* At 904 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain falling across 
  the warned area. River gauges also indicated that Rio Piedras, 
  Quebrada Margaritas and their tributaries are quickly approaching 
  flood stage. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. 

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated. 

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other 
           drainage and low lying areas. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  San Juan, Guaynabo, Trujillo Alto and Carolina. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT AST FOR
SAN JUAN AND GUAYNABO MUNICIPALITIES...

At 1037 PM AST, emergency management reported flooding across 
several portions of the San Juan area. Road 1 in sector Villa 
Nevares, Road 19 near the border of San Juan and Guaynabo, and 
Antartico street in Puerto Nuevo are completely flooded. 

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
