The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Woodford County in central Illinois...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 526 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between two and three 
  inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring along Highway 116 west of Roanoke and other county roads 
  nearby.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Emergency management.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other 
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Roanoke.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT FOR
CENTRAL WOODFORD COUNTY...

At 917 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding still 
occurring west of Roanoke on Highway 116. Up to three inches of rain 
have already fallen. 

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, 
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage 
         and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Roanoke.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch is possible in the warned area.

A new Flash Flood Warning has been issued containing this flooding 
area, essentially replacing this warning at the 930 expiration.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
