...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...
...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Hazardous surf of 9 to 11 feet along north facing reefs of
  Saipan and Tinian, and 6 to 9 feet along north facing reefs of Guam
  and Rota. A high risk of rip currents is expected along north and
  east facing reefs. 

* WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Guam, Rota, Tinian and 
  Saipan.

* WHEN...Through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and 
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best 
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. 
Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction 
following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call
or wave for help.

* WHEN...From this evening through late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away 
  from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High surf for north facing reefs has
  diminished, yet easterly swells for tonight will bring surf up 
  to 9 feet for east facing reefs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
