Expect dangerous rip currents along any reefs that receive north to northeast swell. * WHERE...North facing reefs of Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan. * WHEN...Through Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming conditions, especially in and around any cuts in the reef. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Localized beach erosion is possible due to high astronomical tides. High tides will occur late morning and around 8 to 9 pm in the evening. See the SRFGUM product for detailed tide information. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Inexperienced ocean goers should remain out of the water due to strong rip currents. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current.
