  tornado was located near Monroe, or near Wingate, moving northeast
  at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

NORTHEASTERN UNION COUNTY...
    
At 1041 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 14 miles northeast of Monroe, or 6 miles northeast of
Marshville, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
