...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS 
POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON MAINLY IN TRINITY COUNTY... 

...ANOTHER ROUND OF SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH 
SUNDAY MORNING FOR PORTIONS OF MENDOCINO, LAKE, AND SOUTHERN 
TRINITY COUNTIES....

.While there continue to be some showers around with perhaps a
stray rumble of thunder, the bulk of the lightning activity has
either diminished or shifted to our south and east. That said,
there still may be some new thunderstorm development this
afternoon around in and around Trinity County, and Red Flag
Warnings will continue for those areas. Any storms will be fast-
moving, with only light rainfall, and contain locally gusty
outflow winds. 

Another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms will push
northward tonight into Monday morning, and impact similar areas 
as we saw this morning and last night, mainly in and around
interior Mendocino and Lake Counties, and portions of southeastern
Trinity County. Thus, another Red Flag Warning has been issued for
those zones for late tonight through late Monday morning. These
thunderstorms will once again be capable of causing new fire
starts due to their relatively dry nature and fast-movement, along
with the continued dry fuels and low humidity conditions in place.

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 11 AM PDT MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 2 AM to 11 AM PDT Monday. 

The previous Red Flag Warning for early afternoon today has been 
cancelled early. 

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 264 and 276.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Fast moving thunderstorms will pose a threat 
  for fire starts due to lightning.

* WINDS...Erratic, gusty outflow winds will be possible in and
  around thunderstorms. Winds outside of storms will be lighter,
  but west-northwest breezes will pick up late Monday afternoon
  and evening. 

* IMPACTS...Higher potential for wildfire starts in proximity 
  to thunderstorms due to lightning. Any fires that develop may 
  spread rapidly due to the combination of dry fuels and low 
  humidity. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 204, 211, 212 and 283. 

* THUNDERSTORMS...Fast moving thunderstorms will pose a threat 
  for fire starts due to lightning.

* WINDS...Erratic, gusty outflow winds will be possible in and
  around thunderstorms. Outside of thunderstorms, West to
  southwest winds will develop for Sunday afternoon and evening at
  8 to 15 mph. Winds may be locally gusty through exposed river
  valleys and over mountain ridges. Lighter winds will follow
  overnight tonight into Monday morning, followed by more typical
  up-valley west-northwest breezes Monday afternoon and evening. 

* IMPACTS...Higher potential for wildfire starts in proximity 
  to thunderstorms due to lightning. Any fires that develop may 
  spread rapidly due to the combination of dry fuels, low 
  humidity, and locally breezy conditions. Outdoor burning is 
  not recommended.
