The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Jefferson County in central New York...
  North central Lewis County in central New York...

* Until 615 PM EDT..

* At 537 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles north of Herrings, or 11 miles northeast of
  Fort Drum, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  east central Jefferson and north central Lewis Counties, including
  the following locations... Lake Bonaparte, Natural Bridge, Diana
  Center, Antwerp and Harrisville.
