tornado was located near Santa Maria, moving northwest at 30 mph.

SOUTHEASTERN HIDALGO COUNTY...
At 1255 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Progreso City Offices, or over Progreso, moving
northwest at 30 mph. This storm will impact the Weslaco area by 105
PM and the Pharr and San Juan area by 115 PM.
HAZARD...Tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
