  The southern City of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 300 AM EDT.
    
* At 233 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Hobbsville, or near Sunbury, moving north at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Gates, Roduco and Corapeake around 245 AM EDT.
  Whaleyville around 250 AM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Gliden, Easons Crossroads, Savage, Peach, Acorn Hill, Suffolk

CENTRAL GATES  AND THE SOUTHWESTERN CITY OF SUFFOLK...
    
At 249 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Gates, or 9 miles south of Holland, moving north at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
north central Gates  and the southwestern City of Suffolk, including
the following locations... Drum Hill, Hazelton, Buckland, Cleopus,
Reynoldson and Somerton.
