The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Grady County in southwestern Georgia...
  Southwestern Thomas County in south central Georgia...

* Until 415 PM EDT.

* At 115 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Thomasville, Thomasville Municipal A/P, Grady Co A/p, Moncrief,
  Dillon, Pine Park, Newark, Pasco, Beachton and Metcalf.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the 
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

can do so safely.
