At 604 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that heavy rain was falling over the area. Up to two to three inches
of rain have already fallen in the past three hours, with the
greatest concentration along a narrow swath between roughly Critz,
Virginia to Sandy Ridge, North Carolina. Flash flooding is expected
to be ongoing in some locations.
