* At 1242 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Cooleemee, or near Mocksville, moving
  northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

DAVIDSON COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 115 AM EDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT for central North
Carolina.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Raleigh.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
sections of Forsyth, Davidson, Guilford and Randolph counties 
until 145 AM EDT.
