  Central Kiowa County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 330 PM MDT.

* At 252 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Chivington, or 23 miles north of Lamar, and is
  nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

was located near Chivington, or 22 miles north of Lamar, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Kiowa County.
