The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Delaware Bay...

* Until 530 PM EDT.

* At 429 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 12 nm north of
  Northeast River to 10 nm east of Rock Hall to near Choptank River,
  moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and small 
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sea Breeze, Pea Patch Island, Slaughter Beach, Bowers Beach,
  Woodland Beach, Stony Point, Ship John Shoal Light, Miah Maull
  Light, Cross Ledge Light and Reedy Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather
Service.
