...MINOR TIDAL FLOODING ALONG BARNEGAT BAY...

Tides have been running higher than normal across the bay since 
Thursday due to the combination of persistent southerly flow and 
runoff from heavy rain that fell. As a result, minor flooding is 
expected through the early morning hours. The bayshore and tidal 
tributaries of the bay, mainly north of Barnegat Inlet, will 
experience minor flooding.

Do not leave your vehicle in a location that is prone to tidal 
flooding.

High tide has passed, and water levels are slowly subsiding. 
Minor flooding on the bayshore and tidal tributaries, mainly north
of Barnegat Inlet, will continue to subside over the next hour.
