.A very moist and persistent storm system will bring heavy
mountain snow to the region beginning tonight in the Cascades and
spreading across the remaining mountains around the region on 
Thursday. Valleys and the far western Columbia Basin will also 
receive initial heavy snow with a messy change over to freezing 
rain and eventually rain by Friday afternoon.
