The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Spokane County in northeastern Washington...

* Until 1230 AM PDT.

* At 929 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Over two inches of rain have 
  already fallen from a stationary thunderstorm. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...The Deer 
  Creek and Little Deep Creek drainages flowing into the
  Chattaroy, Colbert and Milan areas. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
