The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Palm Beach County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 1015 AM EST.

* At 614 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated showers producing heavy 
  rain across the warned area. Two to five inches of rain have 
  fallen. Flooding has already been reported in the Riviera Beach 
  area, and flash flooding is expected to begin shortly elsewhere 
  across the warning area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach and
  Palm Beach.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches are possible in 
the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM EST FOR
NORTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY...

Around 715 AM EST, the public reported flooding in the Jupiter area, 
with flooding earlier reported in the Riviera Beach area. Earlier 
this morning, heavy showers produced 3 to 6 inches of rain across 
the warning area. While the rain has become much lighter or has 
ended, ongoing flood waters across portions of the warning area will 
be slow to recede. As a result, the Flash Flood Warning remains in 
effect.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach and Palm
Beach.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 AM EST FOR
NORTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY...

Moderate to heavy showers are once again overspreading the warning 
area, with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible 
through the morning hours.

Earlier this morning, the public reported flooding in the Jupiter 
area, with flooding also reported earlier in the Riviera Beach area. 
The reported flooding was the result of heavy showers that produced 
3 to 6 inches of rain across the warning area.

The additional rainfall will have the potential to prolong the 
flooding and create new areas of flooding.
