At 1106 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes
were located along a line extending from near Buckhorn to 8 miles
southeast of Pittsfield, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
These tornadic storms will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern
Pike and southeastern Brown Counties in west central Illinois,
including the following locations... Pearl, Perry, Detroit,
Montezuma, La Grange, Versailles, Bedford, Time, Chambersburg and
Milton.
This includes Interstate 72 near exit 35.
