heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen. An additional inch or two of rain will be possible
in the next hour or two. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

Lawrenceburg, Burgin, Oregon, Shakertown, Marcellus, Vanarsdell,

SOUTHEASTERN ANDERSON AND SOUTHWESTERN JESSAMINE COUNTIES...
At 1152 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
northern parts of Garrard County, particularly along portions of
Buckeye Road where flood waters have stranded motorists. Doppler
radar indicates over four inches of rain have already fallen in
portions of the flash flood warning. An additional inch of rain will
be possible in the next hour.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lawrenceburg, Burgin, Oregon, Shakertown, Marcellus, Vanarsdell,
Ebenezer, Bondville, Marksbury and Bushtown.

At 1224 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding and
multiple road closures in the warned area. Water rescues have also
been performed in parts of northern Garrard county. Doppler radar
estimates over four inches of rain have fallen. Additional light
accumulations will be possible over the next hour, though water
levels will remain high even after the rain ends. Please adhere to
any road closures in your area, and use caution if you must be out
driving early this morning as flood waters are harder to recognize
at night.
