VIZ002-280600- /O.NEW.TJSJ.RP.S.0032.190827T2200Z-190828T2200Z/ St Croix- 549 PM AST Tue Aug 27 2019 ...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... The National Weather Service in SAN JUAN has issued a High Rip Current Risk, which is in effect through Wednesday afternoon. * LOCATION...The southern shores and eastern tip of Saint Croix. * TIMING...Until 6 PM AST Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...Strong currents that can carry even the strongest swimmers out to sea. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... There is a high risk of rip currents. Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. && $$
