...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH
FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in SAN JUAN has issued a High Rip
Current Risk, which is in effect from Friday morning through
Friday afternoon. 

* LOCATION...Beaches along the north central coast of Puerto Rico,
  as well as along the San Juan and Vicinity coast. 

* TIMING...Friday morning through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong currents that can carry even the strongest of 
  swimmers out to sea. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

There is a high risk of rip currents.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
