* TIDAL DEPARTURE...up to 1 foot above predicted astronomical 
  tides through tonight.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Minor tidal flooding expected around 
  times of high tide through tonight, especially in the more 
  vulnerable flood prone areas.

* TIMING...Above normal water levels will continue during times 
  of high tide through Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...up to 0.5 feet above predicted astronomical 
  tides through tonight.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...Mainly nuisance flooding of low lying
  areas around times of high tide.

* SURF AND RIP CURRENT RISK...Along area beaches, surf up to 4
  feet and high risk of rip currents.

* TIMING...Rip current risk will be especially high from 11 AM 
  through 5 PM today. Above normal water levels will continue 
  around times of high tide through Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

There is a High Risk of rip currents.

Rip currents will be life threatening.

Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as groins, jetties
and piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards and the beach patrol.
Pay attention to flags and posted signs.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current remain calm.
Don't fight the current. Swim in a direction following the
shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave
for help. If tired, float or tread water until out of the rip
current.
