* At 529 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Shelburn, Farmersburg, Hymera and Fairbanks.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches is possible in the
warned area.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN VIGO AND NORTHERN SULLIVAN COUNTIES...
At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
continue over parts of the warned area. Radar estimates rainfall in
excess of 5 inches has fallen over parts of the warned area.
At 700 PM EDT, law enforcement reported State Route 63 from the Vigo
county line south to State Route 48 is flooded. Up to two feet of
water across the road has been observed. Flash flooding is occurring.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Shelburn, Farmersburg, Hymera and Fairbanks.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
