* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Christian County in central Illinois...
  Northwestern Shelby County in central Illinois...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.
    
* At 927 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located south of Stonington moving southeast at 25 
  mph. This storm has a history of producing a tornado.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR EAST
CENTRAL CHRISTIAN AND NORTHWESTERN SHELBY COUNTIES...
    
At 943 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Assumption, or 12 miles east of Taylorville, moving 
southeast at 40 mph. This storm has a history of producing a 
confirmed tornado.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Christian and northwestern Shelby Counties.

SHELBY COUNTIES HAS EXPIRED...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
