The Low pressure system that prompted the High Wind Warning has moved into the eastern Great Lakes as of 6pm. Winds have begun to diminish as of Wednesday evening, and will continue to decrease overnight. Some gusty winds upwards of 30 mph will still be possible over the next 4 to 6 hours throughout central and southeast Illinois, before falling below 20 mph near midnight. Calmer winds will arrive Thursday morning, overspreading the region throughout the Thanksgiving holiday. $$
